Is 25dollar1up legit or scam? Can you actually earn money through 25dollar1up? Should you join their network?
While surfing social media, you may have come across messages like “Learn how to make $25 to $100 a day.” Or you may have seen screenshots of some people’s earnings where they share a message saying “Ask me how I earn this money.” You see, all of those people are earning money through a site called 25dollar1up, which is a MLM scheme.
In this article we’ll put up our views of why you should and why you should not sign up on 25dollar1up platform to earn money.
Is it possible to earn money through 25dollar1up platform?
Yes, it is possible to earn money through 25dollar1up.
In fact, most of the screenshots you see on social media are genuine. Yes, they do earn money. Some people earn as high as 1 lakh rupees per month. But, like any other field, these are very rare cases where people cross 1 lakh per month earning mark while earning online.
Also, the screenshots of earnings you see, the messages that urge you to ask “how” in the comments section, are all part of the process used to earn money by people on this platform.
How do people earn money through 25dollar1up?
As I mentioned before, it is a MLM scheme where you refer people to the network and earn.
In 25dollar1up, however, you earn the whole amount paid by someone whom you refer to the network. Yes, you read it right. Since, $25 is the joining fee, if someone agrees to join the network; you get paid $25 INSTANTLY!
The process is simple:
- You convince someone to join their network.
- They agree to join and are ready to pay $25 as registration fee
- They pay the registration fee of $25
- You receive that whole registration fees as 100% commission.
A simple rule in the system is that: The commission of every second user who joins through your recommendation is passed up to someone who recommended you. Your second commission is passed up to your referrer. After that, you receive 100% commission for all the registrations you do.
This sounds so simple but convincing people to sign up on a platform which works on a MLM scheme is very difficult.
Some people also have created private groups and are coaching the members how to convince people to join the network.
Is 25dollar1up affiliate marketing?
No, I disagree with the claim made that you are an affiliate marketer if you are using 25dollar1up and promoting it. There is a difference between MLM scheme and affiliate marketing. These two are totally different fields.
Many users of 25dollar1up refer themselves as affiliate marketers while promotions. But the fact is, THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATE MARKETERS.
Affiliate marketers are people who get commission for making a sale of a product purchased online.
For example, most used affiliate platform is Amazon. Amazon affiliate marketers receive commission when you buy something from valuable from Amazon from their link. You see, you are receiving something physical or something in value here.
Or consider an online course or software, when you order them through any of the affiliate’s link, you receive some product which gives you value and affiliates receive some commission.
In case of 25dollar1up, you are convincing people to join a network, which asks you to convince more people to join the network so you can earn a commission.
It is important to note that in whole process of 25dollar1up:
- You don’t receive any physical product
- You don’t receive any online product which provides value.
Now, many of you will argue that they do provide us “AFFILAITE TRAINING VIDEOS”.
But we would like to bring into your notice that while those videos provide you training to convert people to join the network, THEY DON’T TEACH YOU AFFILIATE MARKETING.
Affiliate marketing is one of the fastest growing fields with a lot of potential in the future and the word affiliate is used just to attract people to you so you can convince them to join the network.
There is another point of view for this.
You are spammed by someone to join the network and now since you have lost money to the scheme, you have no other option but to scam someone else to join so you recover your loss.
Should you consider joining the network?
You just read how easy it is to earn through 25dollar1up platform. But in fact, it is not so easy to convince people to join the network.
We consider joining 25dollar1up as harmful to your personal and professional life.
In doing so, you lose respect within your friends and community as it is seen and recognized as a scam by most of the people. You keep spamming your friends, family and relatives to earn huge money by sending them messages, by posting status, stories, etc. YOU ARE OFFICIALLY A SPAMMER.
It takes a heavy toll on your thinking as it implants a thought in your brain that EARNING MONEY IS SO EASY. You are like, it’s so easy! I’ll do it for the rest of my life, just add people to the network and earn lots of money.
With respect to your professional life there are many ways this will hurt your present and future.
Since you start earning money equivalent to your salary by sitting home, you may consider leaving your job. But once 25dollar1up is taken down by the government, which will be taken down now or in future, you are left with months or years of no work experience.
You cannot even mention in your resume that all this time you were working for 25dollar1up because all those using this platform will be categorized as spammers and no company will want to hire you.
Another point of view, you get so busy with 25dollar1up that you don’t learn other skills and implement them like blogging, freelancing, etc. The only thing you know will be how to add people to a network, which no company will ever need.
